LCRA Hydromet Weather Data
This website gives water level, rainfall, temperature history, and humidity for our area by selecting "Expanded Highland Lakes Area" and looking at the box between Shovel Mountain and Round Mountain (labelled "Marble Falls 10 SSW"). This is just north of North Cypress Creek and south of the county line on US 281.

Longhorn Cavern State Park is located on Park Road 4 in Burnet, Texas. You can access Park Road 4 by two different routes. You can take HWY 281 between Burnet & Marble Falls and exit to Park Road 4 or you can take HWY 29 between Llano and Burnet & exit Park Road 4.

Falkenstein Castle
Check out this link to the Castle in the Texas Hill Country. Falkenstein Castle is located on Park Road 4 seven miles west of the intersection of Highway 281...between Marble Falls and Burnet. As you're driving west the castle will be on your right. There's a road side park just past the castle on your left where you can stop and take some photos.
